Returns & Refunds

  1. We pack our products with a lot of care and love so that it reaches our customers safely. In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, please send us a photo of the damaged product and box within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will replace the same product immediately and there are no additional shipping charges that you would need to pay.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
  2. As lovely as our products maybe, we understand that sometimes they do not fit in your home as expected. For such instances, we do provide returns as a service for a fee (return shipping). However, onward shipping charges are not refundable. There are 2 ways of providing returns. If the customer is self shipping, there will be no pickup charge (except for soft furnishings where a dry cleaning fee might still apply). If the pickup is done by Nestasia's shipping provider, then the return fee structure is as below. Please note that you will be required to print a label and stick on the box so that our courier partner can scan it.                                                                                                                                                                
    1. For orders below Rs 2500 -> pickup charge is Rs 250
    2. For orders above Rs 2500 -> pickup charge is 10% of the order total
    3. For soft furnishings which require to be dry washed after a return, the return shipping charges might be more than 10% depending on the item being returned                                                                                           
  3. We would require the returned items to have their original packing. The merchandise must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We would also require all original papers to be returned with the product.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
  4. Not all products are eligible for returns. In order to maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen, as well as to keep our prices fair, many items are "Final Sale." Please make it a point to understand and check with our customer team which products are eligible for returns before purchasing. Eligible products can be returned within 7 days of receipt.                                                                                                                                    
    1. Food serving products, ceramics, cutlery and other products which are fragile are not eligible for returns.
    2. Handicrafts and natural materials with slight color and texture differences are not eligible for returns. 
    3. Small bubbles on ceramic are not considered a defect if they are not visible on the upper surface
    4. Items bought on sale are not eligible for returns       
    5. Once a piece is exchanged, it cannot be exchanged again
    6. Our website dimensions are generally very accurate. However, up to 5% or 2cm variance (whichever is higher) from the stated dimensions is not considered a defect                                                                                                               
  5. We ship several thousand parcels a month and a missing product or theft in transit is extremely rare. In case you feel your parcel has been tampered with, please reach out to the Nestasia team on email/WhatsApp as soon as possible and take a video before opening your box.                                                                                               .                                                                                                                                 
  6. Nestasia uses 3rd party courier services and is not liable for delays in shipping. We share approximate number of days required for delivery. We also extend the best support possible to ensure that the products reach customers as soon as possible. For any time sensitive orders, please reach out to customer team to find out more.                                                                                                                                                                                                  
  7. Orders cannot be cancelled/altered after 4 hours of placing the order. Once an order is packed/shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will be treated as return if there is non acceptance. For COD orders, Nestasia reserves the right to deny future orders. In case of prepaid orders, Nestasia is not liable to refund the amount of the order if the order is refused or returned at doorstep. Any re-delivery requests will be chargeable additionally and will include two way shipping and re-packing costs.

  9. Return requests have to be approved before processing. The Nestasia care team must receive and approve your return request by email or text or WhatsApp. Once your request is received, it may take a few days for the team to get back with or without an approval.                                                                                                                                                                  
  10. Once returns are received by us and clear our quality checks, you will receive store credit/voucher which you will be able to redeem in your next purchase. Any onward and return shipping as applicable will be deducted from the total amount. The voucher can be use anytime in the next 3 months without any limitations.                                                                                                                                                                            
  11. We aim to process all disputes very amicably. This is because we want the best for you home. In case there are any disputes which are not resolved despite out best efforts, the jurisdiction for the disputes shall be Kolkata, India.
